I’m a very social and friendly person, usually the one either organizing the event or working it, lol. I have a huge heart (which is my greatest downfall) and I’m a loyal and forever friend, (just don’t take me for granted.)
I have been in the music industry for more than 25 years; I have worked for and with the best in the business, in just about all fields from street team, road manager, stage manager, artist manager, promotions manager, publicist, program director, adviser, etc…but my main passion has always been writing, after several years of writing for hire, and being a staff writer in 1999 at In The House Magazine (a Latin publication from P.R), I decided to create a platform for my work so E2K Magazine was born in 2000 as a Hip Hop Magazine, at the time I had all the ties to make it happen but as I followed that journey, I did not like the way that women where portrayed in Hip Hop or in the publication world. I decided to fall back and not feed into that negativity so I turned E2K Magazine on-line, I was approached by my very dear friend Jaecie and was asked to be President of her company called Its a She thang Entertainment. All along I continued to do my community events, open mics/networking events, festivals, club promotions, annual picnics, “Give Thanks” dinner, toy drives and my networking events under both companies. I continued to do interviews, write my articles and post them on the internet. Show up at events, shows and concerts to do write ups on the latest artist, and fashion.
Then the women began to email me and talk to me when they saw me about how the industry did not want to hear about women that own their own business, that are independent and actually own their own cars and houses. It was then I realized my market had found me and I woman up and E2K Magazine was re-introduced to the public with a change in the logo and in 2004 as a Women’s Life Style Entertainment Magazine and my woman movement began in a public forum. (Actually I have been advocating for women all my life)
In the beginning 2008, I began to co-manage an artist called NYRAINE. In the summer I was approached by Val-diddy to join RS Radio having a 10 minute segment which I named “E2K on the Spot” air every Saturday. Then in the end of 2008 Polo (Exclusive fashions & Furs) introduced me to lush and she offered me a spot on Lush Radio every Thursday as a Street Queen ambassador and panelist with other very powerful women in the industry. I continue with my movement now in alliance with all my Street Queens ambassadors and those that are in a positive road to succeed.

April of 2010- I was made President of Street Queens the movement.

DJ Hustle:

unnamed (16)

Hustle was born in Watts, California.
Since he was a kid, he loved music and was influenced by K-Day 1580 AM and Soultrain.  This was the beginning to building his career as a DJ and dancer.  He found enjoyment in organizing the music entertainment during his mother’s parties on her record player.  He eventually found his talent of blending music, then began mixing and scratching on her 45s and singles.  Now, instead of “playing” on mom’s record player, he’s mastered the skill of spinning on his turntables and CDJs for events across the country.  Hustle still enjoys providing music entertainment for intimate events such as weddings and parties, however, he has also added to his resume a series of car events while on tour with Battle of the Imports, NFL’s Dallas Cowboys, and DJ’d for SuperBowl Diet Pepsi Commercial.

Alongside being a DJ, Hustle is also a SAG Actor.  He has appeared in numerous TV commercials, print ads, and SAG movies.  This seasoned DJ, and growing actor has many ambitions he would like to accomplish.  Throughout his career, Hustle stands close to God to guide him through each experience.

Kwan Lee:

Kwan Lee was born on August 10, 1986 in Brooklyn, NY. Kwan was no stranger to Hip-Hop, remembering when his mom used to bring home tapes and let him play the old ones all day. He has been rapping what he feels is a long time. He is also a producer and a videographer. He has been producing since high school never really taking it seriously and looked at it as a way to pass time. In the summer of 2005 however, he finally heard his production at a local talent showcase that was on BCAT. Up until then he never really had seen a lot of people nodding to his beats, and downplayed the idea of becoming a great producer and rapper. So after that he got focused and got better. Fast Forward to 2009. While thinking about quitting in late 2008, he turned everything around by launching his own website, his own youtube page, his media company Kwan Lee TV, and finally finished his first compilation Purple Pain which featured music he produced for various artists. In the year 2009, Kwan Lee started getting interviews and producing for more artists across the United States, even having his work reaching overseas to Saudi Arabia, Japan, and even Iran. On January 1st, 2010, Kwan Lee released his first official solo mixtape The People Vs. Kwan Lee, and continued to make progress in the NYC underground with music and media. In 2010 alone he started new business ventures and became more of a businessman overall, partnering with almost every major promoter in the NYC area, and helping a lot of artist gain exposure via his production or videography. In the summer of 2010, Kwan Lee released the I Warned You EP which is the only release on HipHopIsRead.com by an independent artist with a sample set accompanied by it. The following month, along with Mz. LaLa and Mz. Real, Kwan helped start up BYCPromo.com one of the top websites for independent artists in NY. In 2011, Kwan Lee released The People Vs. Kwan Lee 2 which surpassed his expectations yet again, along with the EP The Evil EP. Kwan started to get noticed in NY and across the USA even more, getting in several online magazines and getting on blogs showcasing what he can do. In the summer 2012, Kwan Lee released Million Dollar Mind, which was well recieved. On November 1, 2012, Kwan Lee released the Kwan Lee 4 President EP, which is currently out now online. In 2014, Kwan Lee released The People Vs. Kwan Lee 3, and the response has been overwhelming.

I too am an aspiring blog writer but I’m still new to everything. Do you have any suggestions for newbie blog writers? I’d really appreciate it.
